Software Engineer

We are looking for a top-quality software engineer to work on delivering Acxiom Digital/Kefta's behavioral targeting solutions to our clients. Responsibilities include:
- Development of technical specifications for client campaigns, based upon given project specifications
- Implementation of client campaigns, using our proprietary application platform, Python, JavaScript, and other web technologies
- Delivery of fully unit-tested code to QA
- Documentation of all campaign code
- Maintenance of deployed campaigns
- Provide technical assistance to client services and sales teams as required.

Experience Required:
- 1+ years experience working in a professional software development organization
- 1+ years experience in Web development
- Experience working on client-oriented projects is a plus.

Technical Skills Required/Desired:
- Strong client-side scripting skills (JavaScript, DHTML and CSS)
- Experience with JavaScript event handlers
- Strong understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM)
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocol
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Python
- Basic RDBMS knowledge
- Experience with CVS or other source code management systems
- Experience in a Unix/Linux development environment
- Exceptional analytical, design, and debugging skills

Additional requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills; details oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment

Education Required:
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
