SUMMARY
Manage the software product development group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

. Responsible for staffing and managing the software product development group, recruiting quality professionals.
. Establish and control FDA-compliant software development process.
. Set standards of quality and performance.
. Lead software architecture design; write software specifications.
. Motivate subordinates to maximize their contributions.
. Identify tools and structure environment to maximize group productivity, enforce quality standards and control product.
. Interact with customers and vendors.
. Light travel.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 8 years industrial experience with at least 3 years of group supervision. Medical imaging experience, preferably at a management level is required. FDA-compliant process experience and training. Working experience with Oracle 8.0, Visual Basic 6.0, IDL, Windows NT, Visual C++, UNIX, MS Windows, embedded systems. Proven track record of technical and leadership achievement.
Positive, enthusiastic approach. Flexibility and energy level appropriate for a new company and product.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
MSCS or equivalent; undergraduate mathematics or physical science is required.
