Description
3-5 Years of industry experience required - Solid understanding of real time and embedded environment concepts required - Experience with C required - Experience with C++ and Object Oriented applications desired - Ability to program and interface to embedded hardware devices desired. - Knowledge of APCO or Tetra Voice and Data Dispatch Systems a plus - Understanding of RF applications, especially in the areas of Base Transceiver Stations a plus - Desire to follow and contribute to a defined software development process - Familiarity with source code management and defect tracking tools such as Clearcase and DDTS is required - Familiarity with real time Operating Systems such as pSOS, OSE or VxWorks desired. - Familiar with UML methodology and Rational Rose modeling tools desired - Ability to work with and debug legacy code and work with appropriate tools such as Code Warrior desired. - Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
