Description
Global CI has an immediate need for an experienced Solaris Administrator. This position is required to work at our client site near Baltimore MD. This is a temp-to-hire situation whereas the Client anticipates this candidate joining their team as a permanent employee in the time frame of 3 to 6 months.



Qualified applicants should have current, in-depth experience across a broad spectrum of Data Security Directory, CA & E-Trust, all Solaris Internals, Intrusion Detection & Prevention, and alerts & escalation. Strong technical experience with UNIX is required. Knowledge of industry best practices across multiple platforms (such as various versions of MS Windows, UNIX, z/OS, AS/400) is essential. Knowledge of government regulations and compliance such as HIPPA, FISMA, SOX is valuable. Current CISSP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Ability to navigate in a Windows workstation setting and quickly becoming functional in various Windows applications, plus advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is expected.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidate should be able to effectively interact with all levels of customer staff, and be able to flourish in a contract setting.
