Job Title: Solaris Systems Administrator
Location: Candidate must be on site in Columbus, Ohio
Zip Code 43228
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Requirements:

Candidate will be supporting on site in the datacenter as hands/eyes support during either second or third shift. Strong Solaris skills are required, including SAN configuration, VCS support and VVM configuration support. This candidate must have strong communication skills so that they can perform physical on site support tasks when required. The candidate will be investigating, troubleshooting, and possibly configuring Tivoli Monitoring, HP OVO monitoring, Veritas Netbackup and other tools using specified checklists to remediate servers for security and standards compliance.

Candidate will not be building new servers. Candidate will be fixing and troubleshooting existing servers for a high speed and very stringently controlled environment. It would be nice if the candidate should have some exposure and solid base of AIX , LINUX and or HP skills as well.

Work Shift: 2nd shift
Weekend Coverage: Weekend coverage is required.
On Call: Needs to be on-call
