Description

Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently hiring for a Solidworks Designer/Drafter position in Indianapolis, IN. This is a long term contract-to-hire opportunity. If interested in applying for this position, please send a Word formatted resume directly to: (see below) .

Position: Solidworks Designer/Drafter
Location: Indianapolis, IN.
Duration: Contract

Job Description:
-Responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings from previous drawings, CAD models, sketches, layouts, notes, or standard reference information (including MRP systems) using CAD applications and other applicable document creation applications. Additional duties may include creating and modifying change notices/orders.
-Responsible for modifying existing and creating new product documentation drawings in Solidworks CAD software per engineering direction or based on ECO documentation and redline drawings.
-Verify and check drawing change(s) incorporated via change orders.

Requirements:
-AS Degree in CAD Technology or equivalent experience
-Strong Working knowledge and experience with Solidworks 3D CAD Modeling software
-Experience designing products with materials such as sheet metal and plastic
-3 to 5 years experience doing mechanical/product design work with Solidworks
-PCB CAD experience is a plus
