TITLE: Solomon Consultant
TYPE: Direct Hire

OVERVIEW:

In addition to being a certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, our client is the largest reseller of their products to the construction industry. By utilizing industry expertise, proven methodologies, and expert consultants, our client consistently delivers tailored software solutions for the construction market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze customers' business requirements and application objectives; develop an application design in products to meet customers' needs.
- Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develop project plan incorporating all project variables.
- Ensure that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
- Provide project team / user training on specific modules.
- Conduct periodic status checkpoints with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Perform re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project.
- Serve as pre-sales support and post-sales technical support specialist when needed.
- Identify and act on potential software and consulting opportunities.
- Deliver effective presentations and conduct productive meetings.
- Define direction/solution within area of expertise - with very general outside direction
- Provide input to strategic direction

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience implementing Solomon Project / Service series.
- In depth knowledge of Solomon Financial, Project, Service series product lines.
- Effective Consulting and user interface skills
- Possess high degree of personal initiative
- Able to serve effectively as liaison between company and customers.
- Effective communications, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to work as a team member.
- Proficient PC skills.
- Good presentation and meeting skills.
- Ability to provide leadership within area of expertise
- Ability to handle moderately complex issues/engagements/projects
- Ability to address all issues within given area of expertise
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior consultants
- Makes majority of decisions without supervision.
- Ablility to multi-task effectively.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, business, marketing, sales or computer science. Advanced degree desirable.
- Solomon Financial, Project, Service, FRX, Distribution, Crystal reports
certification (desired, but not required).df-tc
