Description
Position Description: Within Operations Sourcing and in support of the entire firm perform the sourcing review, negotiation, drafting and administration of complex facilities and construction operation agreements and projects for the procurement of facilities and construction related equipment and services (e.g. engineering and maintenance services agreements; design & fit out agreements (furniture); cabling and janitorial/waste management agreements for HQ facilities, NA Facilities, Product Development & Support, Security, and Corp Services). Responsibilities include maximizing the Firm's global buying power in serving as a proactive team member by assembling and participating in project sourcing teams and by managing and directing the competitive bidding, approval and contracting processes. Experience in the following areas is required: RF-X preparation and administration; detailed contract negotiations; contract and amendment drafting; SLA negotiations; post contract administration (i.e. dispute resolution; rate reviews; price benchmarking). This position is responsible for: Insuring that agreements accurately reflect the business transaction at hand and meet the Firm's business, financial, technical, legal and approval processes standards and requirements. Proactively manage vendors on a contractual basis. Develop and maintain internal client and vendor relationships. In support of internal clients, manage vendor compliance with contracts by researching contract issues and recommending courses of action; Required to take the lead in resolving vendor-related problems and issues (contract administration). Support Department Management in the development of sourcing plans for assigned commodities (including spend influence ) Provide support and manage relationship with international offices. Support Department Director and other Senior Department personnel in the completion of any assigned special projects and tasks.? Bachelor?s degree ? Minimum of 5 ? 7 years of operations sourcing (facilities, construction, design) experience ? Strong communications (oral and written). ? Good negotiating skills ? Must have the ability to concisely package and present information ? Good presentation skills ? Must be able to contemplate required contingencies ?
