DESCRIPTION
Creates and establishes the foundation of documents to support Hudd IT ISO 9001:2000 certification and IT Training efforts. Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation. Translate applications functionality specifications into user manuals and training documentation. Works under limited supervision. Requires exercising independent judgment and initiative to coordinate and clearly understand applications functionality and operational process integration with systems and information flows. Designs, supports and conducts Logistics Execution Systems (LES) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) applications ?Train-the-Trainer? training programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with Maersk Logistics ISO to monitor and develop the foundation for Hudd IT?s ISO program and documentation.
- Develop and support maintenance of control process and system for IT systems documentation
- Plan, write, and maintain system and user support and training documentation efforts, including online help screen.
- Document, explain, and translate technical jargon and applications functionality into plain English for user manuals, training documents and materials for Hudd developed and configured LES and WMS application solutions.
- Develop familiarization with a variety of logistics and supply chain operations concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Develop strong understanding of Hudd operational processes and LES/WMS functionality to create and tailor integrated training, user manuals, documentation in support of new customers and application implementation projects.
- Interview IT and operational personnel to gather input for use in development of user and training documents

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree is required for this position.
- Studies in communications, journalism or English a plus.
- Requires experience in ISO documentation and/or ISO certification program.
- Must be able to express ideas clearly and logically and should enjoy writing and training.
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience and/or technical proficiency in the logistics field and / or logistics software.
- Technical writing experience a plusdf-tc
