Job Summary

This exciting leadership opportunity for a senior-level QA manager encompasses all facets of QA project management, client management and team leadership. The most typical project roles for the Manager is leading a project team of 15+ people. You must have a deep understanding of test planning, estimation, management, testing tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and deliver balanced and integrated solutions to the client's challenging business problems by leading diverse and dynamic teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for overall solution quality of the project
  • Set up project processes from scratch, leverage organization-wide and industry-wide best practices for process evolution and implementation
  • Manage technology solutions on multiple tracks. Provide estimation metrics for all project activities.
  • Partners with others to lead medium sized teams, and builds and structures project teams to ensure maximum performance.
  • Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment for the team.
  • Mentors and coaches project team members.
  • Manages third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, as necessary
  • Manages the career of up to 6 individuals.

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant QA experience
  • 2+ years project management experience in successfully delivering multiple testing engagements
  • Has experience with release and configuration management.
  • Led teams of 10+ people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Frequent travel may be required for portions of a project
