ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Provides expert guidance and council to management and business process workstreams of Manufacturing and Requisition to Pay in design, development, and implementation of appropriate inherent, configuration, access, and manual controls to ensure that business solutions enable and empower businesses' compliance with corporate and industry standards and best practices.

Investigates complex risk and control opportunities working with workstream Corporate Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Alliance Partners, Business Process Owners, and business Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Team, and ITTC members. Coordinates and drives resolution of control concerns through influence and negotiation. Works with workstreams on identifying and resolving segregation of duty conflicts. Assists Corporate Process Owners with analysis of Global Work Roles, recommending changes to transaction codes and authorization objects as necessary.

Transfers security, control, and risk knowledge to workstream teams both formally and informally. Promotes control awareness within business functional and operational networks. Provides consultative guidance on development of business control and security processes, guidelines, and standards. Assists with business testing of controls functionality prior to implementation within the production environment. Maintains and updates the business Risk and Control Database in addition to other business Lotus Notes Catalog databases.

Aligns with the Controls Integration Team (CIT) and contributes to accomplishment of team COTs and delivery of superior products. Assumes responsibility for continuous personal and team development of SAP technical, risk and control, and project management skill-sets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Incumbent is comfortable with working in a constantly evolving environment and the necessity of multitasking numerous projects with shifting priorities. Commands a thorough understanding of risk and control concepts within business processes of Manufacturing and Requisition to Pay.

Work experience with business process continuous improvement and/or re-engineering projects.
Advanced understanding of SAP R/3 configuration and security are necessary for execution of daily tasks. Broad understandings of SAP functionality are essential and expertise in one or both functional areas of Manufacturing and Requisition to Pay is desired. Proficiency in project management is demonstrated by work experience.

Established, excellent communication skills and ability with standard business office software is necessary. Ability to lead through influence and negotiation is critical for success in this job.
