Description
Description: Extract Transform and Load (ETL) designer/developer for Program Parts List Cost Management application. This is a new development project with plenty of opportunity for an individual to develop their technical. You will be joining a large development team that is mid way through the design stage where you will be given responsibility for designing, developing and testing major portions of the application. Target launch date for the PPL application is late 2008.

Degree: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline

Technical Skills (Must Have): 4+ yrs overall System Analysis and Design and IT experience including:

- 2+ yrs development(code and test) experience working with ETL - Datastage Parallel Extender
- 2+ yrs gathering business requirements and creating functional and detail specifications
- 2+ yrs experince working with Oracle PL/SQL
- 2+ yrs experience in working XML and MQ series




Technical Skills (Nice to Have): - Experience working with SDM or other development Life cycle methodology DataStage
- QA experience
- Data warehousing and business objects
- eHub experience


Supervisory Skills: None

Other: Translates logical design into physical program specifications
- Develops and integrates IT solutions (e.g. ETL module code and existing systems) by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements
- Collaborates with System Designer/Analysts, Architects and Senior Developers to establish the physical application framework (e.g. libraries, reuse modules, development environments)
- Develops and executes unit test and integration plans and scripts to validate that application modules meet technical specifications
- Participates in technical inspections at appropriate stages of development
- Creates production support documentation
- Works with Operations Analysts, System Designer/Analysts and other developers to prepare and stage production builds, and verify production releases meet technical and business expectations
- Performs data migration/conversion activitiesdf-tc
