Job Description:

The Spectrum Manager is responsible for ensuring that support is provided to the Department of Justice (DOJ) law enforcement communications systems; producing reports concerning spectrum issues that affect local, state, and federal public safety agencies; and developing spectrum information materials for public dissemination. Provides expertise in every facet of spectrum management, including developing frequency plans, generating frequency proposals, analyzing spectrum policies and procedures, providing spectrum training, resolving radio frequency interference, and providing spectrum guidance to support research and development efforts. Uses the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's (NTIA), Microcomputer Spectrum Analysis Model for Windows (MSAMw), the Government Master File (GMF), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) PerCon database, SPECTRUM XXI or other related spectrum management systems.

Education Requirements:
BS Recommended (may be substituted for formal technical training in Spectrum Management)

Experience Requirements:
- 7 years experience in Radio frequency (RF) spectrum management
- Experience with automated Spectrum Management tools/GMF database use
- Capable of daily interaction with Government customer
- General office automation including: Word Processing (MS Word and Word Perfect), Excel, Powerpoint and MS Outlook, relational databases

Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Secret clearance
