Sr Analyst, Business ProcessLocation Foster City, CAJob Description:Major Responsibilities: * Participate in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of SAP related security tools, techniques, and mechanisms to meet business needs. Identify and submit process improvements. Other duties as assigned by management * Consult with business to develop an understanding of the varied and complex requirements that can at times be supported by systems, process improvements or organizational change. * Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect production processes and systems. *- Understands the role of the process and system in the big picture and provide forward looking ideas and recommendations that anticipate the needs of the business. Coordinate with global counterparts to determine impact of proposed changes and insure consistency across regions and functional areas. * Respond to questions and influences the business regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs. * Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems. * Ensures current and accurate system documentation, coordinates and or performs testing of system modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates system training, educational tools and materials. * May be involved with the Project Manager regarding planning/scheduling and sources allocation.* Acts as a liaison with IT and/or outside vendors as appropriate in support of the systems. Works together with Consultants and Project Managers to ensure the business needs have been met. * Operates as a spokesperson between business departments and IT groups to determine solutions to business problems. * Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling. Negotiates plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring the business understands the final results of project or improvement* Responsible for solving business problems by leading complex projects from idea to implementation. Provide project leadership to teams made up of personnel across many global departments while driving projects to produce results. At times, this may include working with consultants and outside vendors negotiating programs that produce desired results.* Translate SAP Service Management, Remote Service Dispatch, Interaction Center (Call Center) and Genesys opportunities and relevant business needs into actions. Support day to day business requirements as the single point of contact for Global Remote Service Dispatch and Interaction Center (Call Center) and Genesys opportunities. * Responsible for integration and system acceptance testing, cutover plans, user training, and documentation of the above processes. Acts as a liaison with IT and/or outside vendors as appropriate in support of the systems. Works together with Consultants and Project Managers to ensure the business needs have been met. * Break down complex business scenarios or problems into process and data models and work with business users and delivery teams to develop optimal solutions to agreed requirements.* Skills & Knowledge - Required#Minimum of 5-7 years experience with business operations or systems development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * Abilities/Skills# High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems. * Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures and use reporting/query tools. * Well developed communication skills#oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail. * Excellent project management skills that include PMI PMP Certification or equivalent, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize. * Bachelor's degree in business, business analysis or analytical techniques.* Expertise in one or more specific areas of business preferable: call center operations, technical support or service management. * Experience in one of the following SAP modules: Sales, Service, Manufacturing or Finance.* Experience with Genesys call center/telephony* Expertise in Business Process Reengineering concepts and methods including but not limited to PMI PMP Certification or Six Sigma techniques.df-tc
