Description
Dimension & Scope:
Responsibilities include high level design, directing project efforts,determining feasibility and time and cost estimation. Also provides application systems analysis,complex programming and interface development for multiple business segments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high level design solutions that conform to the overall system requirements. Primary resource person in converting business requirements and definition to system programming specifications. Approve technical specifications for Analyst. Design and write complex programs and system interfaces in accordance with client specifications. Perform unit tests of system interfaces for complex programs prior to release of code for Quality Asssurance testing.Serve as first level for client interface by providing solutions or options to client problems/needs.Member of interdepartmental project teams on large development efforts.Provide on-call product support for complex projects. Assist in planning projects, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and providing status reports to upper management.Perform investigation and research for system environments (i.e., reporting systems, switching systems, computer systems, etc.) to assist in resolving complex programming problems or identifying solutions to new business requirements.Ensure completion of project within established timeframes.Participate in training programs.

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience Or Master's Degree in related technical discipline and minimum two years relevant experience or minimum eight years relevant experience without college degree.
Candidate Profile:
Skill set for position:
1. Creating, saving,restoring both programs and databases on the AS 400 platform.
2. Packaging software (hypers standard deliverables) for delivery to AS 400 machines.
3. Support client base (internal and external) by coordinating yper delivery on behalf of Product Support approval.
4. Analysis of product fixes for appropriateness of delivery.
5. Development and documentation of Product Delivery processes and utilities (l.e. nightly update etc.)
6. Environment issue analysis and resolution if necessary.
7. Develop, test instatllation and release update procedures and software.
8. Support client installations and software upgrades upon request.

Must have proficiency in various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Customer service and detail oriented. Must be able to manage multiple tasks.df-tc
