Purpose of Position The Senior Applications Systems Analyst provides advanced technical expertise and guidance in the design, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of more complex computer applications and systems. This is considered a leadership position within the application development organization. Applications developers - provides leadership and mentoring in analysis, design, development, testing, integration and troubleshooting of applications and information systems Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) Primary technical responsibility for an application involving multiple support personnel that is critical to the operation of the business; or a technical project lead on an application implementation involving multiple application developers and/or contractors over a period greater than six months and costing in excess of $500,000 in labor expense; or holds a proficiency in a unique technical area where loss of this skill would place the company at financial or operational risk. In one of these three capacities, evaluates user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and computer capabilities. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarifies program objectives. Position Requirements -Programming or systems analysis - 6 yrs. -Advanced knowledge of Oracle Financials. (Not Oracle Database or just plain Oracle...Must be Oracle Financials.) Programming and proficiency with a variety of application development and configuration management tools. -Knowledge of relational database technology.
