Job Description - Senior Art Director


Lead a client-focused creative team engaged in developing and executing conceptual designs for artwork and copy across a variety of direct marketing channels, including direct mail, email, web sites, online advertising, rewards catalogs, promotional collateral, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develops intelligent creative solutions for loyalty marketing clients that are appropriate for the client's program and institutional brand
- Consults with Client Services group to assess client marketing needs and determine recommended communications strategies
- Oversees creative delivery across the department, managing a flexible staffing model dictated by current and projected work load
- Ensures that ideas and designs are produced on time and on budget with a high degree of quality
- Collaborates with Marketing Operations team to ensure flawless technical delivery of creative designs
- Presents creative ideas and executions to internal constituents as well as to clients
- Assists with new business development presentations and RFPs
- Seeks out and builds new business among existing client base for marketing-related work
- Stays apprised of new and emerging technology for potential use for clients

Job Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of art direction experience in an direct marketing or advertising agency environment
- Must be able to multitask and meet concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating and executing marketing work for some of the world's foremost financial brands
- Experience with loyalty and financial services clients preferred

Technical Qualifications:
- Mac and PC versed, Quark, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, DHTML, Flash, JAVA, Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).
