Senior Associate - Infrastructure

Job Summary
As an individual contributor, the Senior Associate contributes to the Project Team by using his/her in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure by delivering his/her works within the prescribed timeframe with the highest degree of accuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency. The Senior Associate works collaboratively with the Project Team members in an unstructured, ambiguous environment. S/He may drive a small sub-team on a project, as necessary. Some domestic overnight and/or international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
* Performs all routine systems administration function;
* Designs and implements storage architectures and topologies for production environments (with careful design for application and system data integrity, high performance access, and high availability);
* Designs and manages the implementation of a high-availability cluster with an infrastructure service vendor and project team;
* Designs security infrastructure components with appropriate controls and availability and minimal degradation of performance for a system (e.g., firewalls router ACL's, other ACL's), and;
* Evaluates application architecture designs and communicates potential integration or deployment issues due to improper application of storage and high-availability technologies.

Job Requirements:
Education: BA/BS degree

Experience:
* 4 - 6 years experience;
* Participation in several Designs or Implementations;
* Hands-on experience in 2 of the following: J2EE, Microsoft.NET, horizontal or vertical packages;
* Strong communication (written and verbal) skills;
* High degree of organization and ability to prioritize effectively in an unstructured or ambiguous environment;
* Knowledge of network and systems monitoring and management concepts;
* Understanding of the different types of environments (development, staging, testing, production, etc.) and the role they playing the various stages of an application development lifecycle, and;
* Experience with security infrastructure components (firewalls router, ACL's other ACL's) and knowledge of networking techniques.df-tc
