Description
The Microsoft Federal Intelligence/Homeland Security (IH) services team assumes a key role in supporting the successful and accelerated achievement of our customers' objectives through Microsoft products. To continue supporting our customers, we are actively hiring Exchange consultants with a powerful combination of advanced technology skills and strategic business acumen. The role requires both broad and deep technology know-how and the ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer's business problem to an end-to-end technology solution - with a demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility and business value. The consultant must have proven experience and demonstrated competency in managing projects through the entire project lifecycle, including multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires an individual who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both crisis management and expectation management. They have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and strive for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. Specifically, we are looking for these qualifications: Demonstrated competency or expertise in Exchange Server 2003/2007 design/deployment and migration/transition in large Enterprise environments; demonstrated competency in designing/deploying Exchange high-availability, disaster recovery and continuity of operations; and demonstrated competency in Exchange design dependencies, Active Directory and DNS, networking technologies, storage technologies etc. The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 6 years relevant professional work experience. In addition, a working knowledge of the U.S. Intelligence Community, Homeland and/or Civilian Agency community, and an active security clearance is preferred. We are looking for experienced individuals to be located in the Washington DC area to be a part of this exciting team - some travel is required.
