Description
Our client, manufacturer based in Boston, MA area is seeking a Sr Demand Planner.
No relocation is available.

salary: 60k to 90k depending on level of experience.

SUMMARY A tactical business leadership position responsible for the overall demand planning process within The client, which includes managing the following:

. Sales order commitment process with contract manufacturers. . MRP output and demand signals to contract manufacturers. . Available to promise. . Contract manufacturer's build plans . Sales order backlog and consumption. . The client owned inventory and projections. . Operational metrics. . Customer satisfaction ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Order Management . Manage sales order commit process with contract manufacturers and assure all shipments meet or exceed all customer requested dates. . Manage MRP promise and schedule dates within Oracle for all sales orders released to manufacturing. . Provide sales order validation and configuration guidance to contract manufacturers. . Provide front line support to The client's Oracle interface, ClearOrbit for each contract manufacturer. . Manage daily factory shipping transactions through ClearOrbit and Oracle. . Manage and provide leadership in daily production meetings with contract manufacturers. . Provide and present insight to The client's management on quarterly revenue shipments, consumption to forecast and factory performance.

Build Plan / ATP . Manage The client's top-level finished goods build plan for each contract manufacturer. Build plan needs to provide current available to promise for each saleable item. . Assure factory commitments are meeting current available to promise requirements. . Provide supply chain guidance to The client's sales and operations team regarding current quarter consumption risks The client Owned Inventory . Manage and maintain all inputs to The client's overall supply plan. Inputs to The client's supply plan include: current on hand inventories, current quarter customer returns . . Manage customer returns throughout the factory and make available for re-shipment. Provide guidance and insight to The client's management on all excess and obsolete CRA's. . Perform supply chain management for required drop ship items.

Quality and Metrics . Manage all factory delivery metrics and provide leadership in the resolution of customer corrective actions, CAR. . Responsible for driving process improvement projects and assisting with the implementation of new tools, systems and processes

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
. Minimum 8 years experience in material / demand planning.
. B.S. degree required in a related field or equivalent work experience.
. Strong communication and leadership skills required.
. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process & procedures and material planning operations
. Strong systems ERP background. Oracle ERP and / or db experience a plus.

Salary: 60k to 90K depending on experience.
