Description
Large investment bank is seeking an experienced developer to provide support, maintenance and enhancements to company's business critical SWIFT gateway infrastructure which forms a key part of the strategic external gateway services suite of applications. The SWIFT gateway connects to a number of applications across the bank spanning different business areas, e.g., Prime Broker, Settlements and Treasury, and all geographical regions where company is active, i.e., London, Continental Europe, Mumbai, New York, Far East. At the core of the SWIFT infrastructure is the SunGard messaging product MINT but a number of satellite functions have been developed (and continue to be developed) to enhance the service, particularly around the messages transformation capabilities.

This role will involve out of hours system support (on a rotation basis) as well as coverage on weekends in support of production implementations.

Requirements:
- Experience working with distributed multi-tier systems, databases and messaging architectures, specifically, UNIX (Solaris) and UNIX scripting, MQ and Tibco messaging, Java, CVS, HPOV, Tibco Hawk, C++ , Tibco Integration Manager (beneficial), Tibco Business Works (beneficial), and Business Objects (beneficial).
- Experience with SWIFT interface applications (experience with MINT beneficial, but not essential).
- Experience working within the full project lifecycle.
- Experience working within the financial service business is a MUST.
- Experience working in cross-regional teams is an advantage.
