Identify/document Versions/patch levels of the Crystal product being utilized.

Identify/document all servers/operating systems on which Crystal is running.

Identify/document all Development groups utilizing the Crystal infrastructure.

Identify/document monitoring utilized on the various server environments.

Identify/document licensing currrently in place for the Crystal environment.

Identify/document - Interview all user groups to indentify outstanding issues with current environment.

Identify/docuemnt SLAs if any should they exist.

Identify/document administrative access to server/crystal environments.

Identify/document standard outage windows for each environment.

Identify/document reports path to production for each environment.

Identify/document development/test and production environments.

Identify/document existing performance issues according to the user groups.

Identify/document existing user setup process.

Identify/document any middleware requirements for connectivity.

Identify/document non-Crystal activity on those servers.

Recommendation as to improvements which should/can be made to the present environment.

At the conclusion of the discovery effort it is anticipated that the documentation produced will serve as the basis for migration of support responsibilities for the Crystal Reports infrastructure.

**PREFER LOCAL CANDIDATES**
Senior Software Engineer

Minimum of six years of experience

Skill set: Administration background for Crystal Reports 9/10. Administration of an XI environment a plus.

Identify/document real and potential barriers to consolidation of the Crystal Reporting environments to a single or reduced set of instances.

Research cost/benefit/risk associated with Windows vs Unix infrastructure for the Crystal Reporting Environment - Pros/Cons

Evaluate server sizing for appropriate configuration based upon usage.

High Availability options.

XI Repository Security.

Assist with the planning for a migration of Crystal versions 9 and 10 to an XI environment.
