Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, in our White Plains, NY office.

Description of duties & responsibilities: Building and fire code consulting, fire protection system design and associated calculations, evaluation of existing fire protection systems, life safety surveys/studies, application and evaluation of fire resistive construction. The Fire Protection Engineer must work closely as a part of a team of fire protection professionals and with our clients which requires good oral and written communication skills. The Engineer will be required to interface with building and fire officials and make presentations to clients and these officials. Project management and marketing activities are also required in fulfillment of job responsibilities.

Special skills required: Must be able to travel to project work sites to conduct surveys of existing building conditions to gather physical information necessary to develop designs of fire protection systems.

Minimum education required: BS in Fire Protection Engineering or directly related field

Minimum work experience required: 5-10 years
