Provides financial and business related analyses and research to project management.

May perform one or more of the following:

Required:

Work with healthcare analytic & data team that consults with customers (such as government agencies, brokers, consultants, TPAs, and carriers) that purchase decision support tools and services.Expertise with such things as healthcare cost containment, plan design, stop-loss evaluation, employee premium contributions, COBRA rating, IBNR estimates, and provider profiling/PBM reimbursement strategies is a huge plus. Sample projects include:

. Work with analytic team to evaluate/improve/monitor case identification methods/predictive modeling for case & disease management programs.

. Periodically performs in-depth strategic analyses for key customers.

Preferred:
. Previous consulting experience in healthcare arena.
. Strong SQL or SAS skills

Education and Typical Years Experience
. Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Health Care Management, Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics or Actuarial Science

. Minimum of 2 years experience in health care and/or insurance data analysis.

. PC proficiency and relevant experience with database and spreadsheet applications.

. Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, making decisions that affect the Company’s success and profitability.

. Strong communication skills are critical—verbal, written, interpersonal, and phone, in order to work cooperatively, tactfully, and assertively with clients and colleagues.
