As a Senior Information Architect, you will manage and improve the customer experience for e-commerce and transactional Web sites. You will be a key player in the strategic design process, and will contribute to the definition of user requirements for Internet design projects.

You will collaborate with Managers and Product Strategists to define and prioritize new projects that will yield the biggest benefits to customers, and work with internal project teams to ensure that an explicit customer focus is maintained through project execution.

Additionally, you'll be the information architecture consultant to many Lines of Business, developing use cases, navigational structures, site maps, user flows, functional templates and prototypes that result in Web site and applications enhancements that address high priority business challenges, and reinforce Wells Fargo's position as the number one rated financial services web site. As part of your work, you will gather requirements to determine target audience and objectives, analyze user and business needs, set scope and interface strategies. You will occasionally manage third party vendors and contract staff on a per project basis.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; MA, MBA, or PhD desirable in user interface design or equivalent experience with user centered design methods including task analysis and user scenarios.

5-7 years of experience with interactive product development, design planning, and/or strategic consulting.

Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, facilitation, presentation and engagement management skills. Good interpersonal skills, cross functional team experience, understands the subjective nature of decision-making with internal clients.

Experience in creating wireframes, flowcharts, storyboards and web-based prototypes to demonstrate and test functional design alternatives. Expertise in iterative user-centered design methods.
