Description
? 7+ years of commercial software development, proficient in developing multi-tier solutions. Minimum 5 years of professional Java, and GUI development experience. Ideally some exposure to C#.NET technologies. ? MUST possess a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. ? Technical experience includes strong Java experience as well as some of the following: C# GUI, winforms, Java Swing, XML, XSL, HTTP, SOAP; strong SQL skills, experience with Tomcat and other containers, Win32, Solaris, Linux. Architectural skills highly desirable. ? Strong with GUI design and development. ? Product delivery experience: have been key in developing and supporting commercial software products which were sold to non-technical customers in vertical markets. ? Experience developing applications for the financial markets a very strong plus, including experience with Compliance software or portfolio management/trade order management. ? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector.df-tc
