Major Position Responsibilities:
Schedules and coordinates the workflow of systems consulting personnel; plans and supervises the work of assigned staff and reviews activities to ensure that performance meets predetermined schedules and standards so that output is correct, complete and meets user expectations. Incumbent is technically capable of performing a full range of complex operations assignments either directly or through subordinates. Errors may cause considerable delay, expense and/or disruption. Prepares and maintains management control (financial/business planning and scheduling) systems for moderately-complex contracts, programs, projects, and/or tasks to determine and maintain the most cost effective method of accomplishing work, identify and mitigate risks, etc., and/or exercises working supervision over subordinate staff performing same.


REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs following in support of a moderately complex contract, program, or project and/or exercises working supervision over personnel performing any or all of the following:

Assists in the preparation of an project plan that is in compliance with the cost proposal and contract specifications.

Develops personnel control requirements for designated contracts, programs, projects and/or tasks. Analyzes and reviews all cost (time, materials, equipment, et al.) information and data to ensure all phases of -work are included.

Assists in the implementation of personnel/operational control systems. Sets-up and maintains project codes for contract billing. May prepare or oversee preparation of client invoicing for all reimbursable items.

Conducts daily/weekly meetings and interacts regularly with personnel staff, and with clients if necessary to constantly identify ways to improve operations. Maintains physical security of area and monitors operations for breach of security utilization.

Oversees establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories and security. Manages memory usage of the network, network printing and network technical resources.

Ensures adherence to department policies/procedures as well as generate requested or required reports for customers and management. Keeps apprised of developments in field of expertise to ensure currency of knowledge.

May coordinate activities of multiple shift supervisors to ensure smooth, continuous project goals.

All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. 4 year degree in CIS/MIS (or related field/equivalent experience)

2. 5+ years progressively responsible related experience in administration, management control and/or technical/professional services.

3. Experience working in maintenance environment for large systems

4. Experience working with and reporting directly to the client

Pluses:

1. Experience with Title XIX or XXI healthcare programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, or Child Health Insurance (CHIP) programs.
2. PMP
