Position: Oracle Production DBA
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Rolling Meadows IL

Required Skills: Oracle 9i/10g / Dataguard, RAC, RMAN

Job Description:


Must have minimum 5-6 years experience in Oracle Database Administration supporting production environment


Hands on experience with Oracle 9i/10g database management systems and overall Oracle technical environment


Experience with DBA support for custom application development efforts


Must have experience working in Data guard Configuration.


Installation and configuration of Oracle9i/10g Real Application Clusters (RAC) database


Developed and documented a custom RAC install for customer deployment


Developed RMAN backup and recovery scripts.


Perform installs, upgrades, and support for customer production.


Strong inter-personal and communication skills are required.
