Job Description
The Battery Subsystem Lead Program Integrator is responsible for driving the development of Subsystems from Concept development through Subsystem Verification, and then works closely with a Program team to integrate the subsystem into a Program for release to production.
. The LPI develops the Integrated Project Plan and ensures that the necessary resources are applied and delivering to plan. The LPI works with a cross-functional team to ensure subsystem technical excellence, consistency with technology road-map, manufacturability, serviceability, safety and quality. In addition, the LPI works with the functional engineering leadership team to grow functional and domain expertise within the subsystem team. The LPI is responsible for ensuring that the product development process abides to the business Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable markets. Finally, the LPI works with the system, Program and service leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features.

Candidate Requirements:
Required:
1. 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering
2. 4+ years experience as an engineer within a manufacturing or development environment, including at least 3 years of direct project coordination
3. Motivated and skilled at planning, coordinating, executing and managing cross-functionally integrated plans
4. Manage the specification, progress and delivery of work of suppliers subcontractors, development teams and sub-projects in accordance with program integrating processes and regulatory requirements
5. Coordinate with production, planning and technical personnel to ensure the successful launch of products
6. Ensure that effective design and change control structures are in place and utilized across the program
7. Success in building collaborative cross-functional relationships
8. Strong communicator with skills in negotiation, escalation and risk mitigation
9. Provide weekly updates regarding project progress
10. Ability to identify and champion process improvements and team work optimizations
11. Naturally proactive in taking initiative and promoting the use of new and innovative project management strategies
12. Developed products regulated by the FDA, or other strictly regulated environment. Demonstrable leadership skills in a high-tech environment.
