NO SPONSORING AVAILABLENO 3RD PARTIES PLEASERELOCATION IS AVAILABLE!Sr Prin Software EngineerTo provide technical leadership in the specification, development, testing, and documentation of embedded software applications.Summary of Major Responsibilities: Includes system design/analyses, hardware/software integration and testing, embedded software design and test / validation. Tasks include: project planning, system analyses, system design, requirements analyses and allocation, leading software design and/or testing, approving test reports, leading design reviews and code work-through / inspections, overseeing / delegating coding, and providing technical work direction to team members and support groups to achieve project objectives. This is an individual contributor / technical leadership position within a product development team, which will require technical, interpersonal, and leadership competencies.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science (MS preferred) and 10 years of applicable experience. Candidates must have expert knowledge of embedded system development, software/system test methodologies, and experience with embedded software controlled, Class I, II, or III medical devices. Required skills include planning and leading a small team in a development process; as well as significant experience with the following: Embedded System Design, Human Factors Engineering, Object Oriented Technology, Java, HTML, C++, C.
