Sr Product Manager BSA Location: Woodland Hills, CAJob Description: * Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the BSA team including Zenith staff, contractors, and strategic partners * Provide technical guidance and strategic understanding to all IT functions regarding requirements gathering, tools and capabilities * Establish, maintain, and advance the BSA practices in the IT organization including resources, processes, standards, alignment with other key practices, and alignment with business objectives * Provides staff with technical and non-technical career & employee development planning including training and related assignments; Maintain documented succession/cross training plans for employees * Keep up to date with evolving technology tends, solutions, tools and practices relating to Business Requirements gathering, Requirement Maintenance and Business Rules * Assigns, monitors, and manages staff workload to ensure that all resources have meaningful, challenging, and rewarding assignments, are fully utilized, and team productivity is optimized * Within areas of Business Systems Analysis, Support IT Management with strategic planning, technology assessments, and IT/Business liaison activities and proposing technical solutions for business challenges and objectives * Maintain formal status reporting of groups progress and issues, addressing existing resource allocation, current workload status as well as new project request, development requirements, resource estimates and delivery time frames Education, Skills and Requirements * Strong knowledge of various SDLC methodologies * Expertise in gathering, documenting and maintaining business rules * Proficient in a variety of analysis methods and techniques, including UML, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and BPM. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences. This includes the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. * 5 to 8 years experience managing a team of business systems analysts, including mentoring and career planning * Strong leadership, mentoring and facilitation skills Preferred Skills * Experience within the Insurance Industry, preferrably Workers Compensation * Experience managing a team of Business Systems Analysts in support of business systems application development * Experience within Business Systems Application Development Environmentdf-tc
