Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will evaluate user requirements for new programs or complex modifications to existing programs. Independently formulate detailed program specifications using structured analysis and design methodology. Independently code new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness. Evaluate error messages, modify code and troubleshoot programming issues.

Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years programming experience on VAX/Open VMS
Minimum of 5 years experience with Cobol
Must have hands-on experience with Datatrieve, CMS, DCL, RMS and DecForms
Experience with usage of System Services and Run-time Library Functions on Open VMS
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative

Preferred (But not required)
Knowledge of C as well as MQ is a plus
Familiarity with health care or PBM industry very helpful
