Sr Tester with QA process background and "career choice".

Required:
- Relational Database (they use SQL Server)
- SQL - strong queries and skills
- Prior development & lifecycle experience
- Must have methodology background

Preferred:
- experience with Business Objects
- BO Universes
- Data Cubes
- Crystal Reports

Candidate strengths need to be in Sr testing experience, but candidate doesn't need to be a process hotshot or an automation tool expert. Person who is too heavy in Methods and Tools will probably be disappointed in the job - it doesn't have the full system / application testing demands that other test roles do. It tends to be report-based, smaller, more numerous short term projects (2 days to 2 weeks). Non-report based exceptions include data-oriented deliverables such as universes, cubes, BO dashboards but prior exp is not rqd in those tools EXCEPT that a strong SQL & Database & data analysis and overall data oriented expert is important.

Candidate needs to be methodical, focused, doing heads down testing and cooperative. Test data creation knowledge helps, although we haven't been able to do that very much.

Advanced skills that would be helpful are test planning and script creation, requirements verifications/review and strong communication.

Candidate would be converted to PERM after 6 monthsdf-tc
