SR Quality Assurance associates needed - Peoplesoft OR Admocs


One of our clients, a highly respected consulting firm, based in Boston, MA has asked us to help them find several Quality Assurance Associates.

Multiple positions:

1 opening for Sr QA - Peoplesoft (- 1-3 years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials and HR. and Strong knowledge of financial / accounting processes; preferably in a consulting role.)

2 openings for SR QA - Amdocs (Should have spent at least 6 months performing software development and Minimum 6 months experience in QA in the Wireless industry, particularly with the AMDOCS Billing System )


General information:

The primary function of a Senior Associate, QA is to understand the technology solution being developed for a client and to ensure quality of the solution through manual and automated testing methods.

A Senior Associate, QA would either work as a Track Lead (2 to 7 person team) or as part of a larger testing team.. As part of daily responsibilities he/she will be required to ensure that his/her testing team is able to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases to test the solution functionality. A person in this title must have strong written and oral communication skills and an eye for detail.

In performing the essential functions of this role, the work-environment is fast-paced, moderately noisy and team-based.

Education:
-Bachelor's degree required

Additional Requirements / Experience Guidelines:

(on top of specific experience noted above with openings listed)
- 2-4 years of experience in testing.
- Experience in manual and automated testing.
- Should have 1 year experience on any one of the test automation tools-
Winrunner, Loadrunner, Rational Robot
- Should have spent at least 1 year performing software development and
demonstrate an understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage a track
of work with 4-7 people.
- Should understand the technical factors which impact solution quality in
order to test more effectively.
- Should have exposure to one defect tracking/incident management tool
e.g. Test Director, Remedy, PVCS
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Salary 55-70k

Relocation is available.
