Primary Purpose
Perform duties required to deliver high quality products to market in a timely manner using SQA methodology.

Duties and Responsibilities
. Develop, review, execute and maintain test plans, test scripts and test data
. Actively participate in requirements reviews to insure a quality product
. Effectively represent Quality Assurance as the lead on various projects
. Commit to delivering high quality products to market on time
. Work with other departments to resolve any client issues quickly
. Use software metrics as a method to communicate the status of the product as well as for process improvement
. Analyze, report and manage defects effectively
. Clearly communicate the status and issues to appropriate managers and project team leaders
. Take on additional responsibilities as necessary to achieve project and team goals
. Develop automated testing scripts where appropriate

Required Skills and Abilities
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
. Excellent oral and written communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with staff, clients and vendors
. Possess basic office skills sufficient to meet production and quality standards
. Must be flexible and have the ability to handle multiple projects
. Ability to interact with, and accept direction from, multiple managers and team leads
. Ability to work independently under general supervision is required
. Must be a team player willing to work at tasks outside of normal duties if needed to support team objectives
. Must be a fast learner capable of learning new applications quickly
. Ability to work with cross function team members to achieve common project goals

. Experience using automated and load testing tools

. Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent
. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

Experience
. 6+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance
. 4 years experience testing applications using Oracle or MS SQL Server
. 3 years experience testing web based applications
. 4 years experience testing applications in the MS Windows environment
. 4 years System and Networking experience

Other desired skills:
.Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent
.Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

.6+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance
.4 years experience testing applications using Oracle or MS SQL Server
