Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills: Job# 4018Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer The Senior SQA Test Engineer will write and implement software quality assurance plans, test strategies and test procedures, including the transition from manual to automated environments. The candidate will work closely with software developers and architects during feature design to devise test strategies and use cases for acceptance testing. Functions:Develop test strategies and plans for features based on requirement or design specifications.Create use cases for key features as part of the requirements/design phase of projects.Assist in debugging software and hardware problems, reporting and tracking feature defect.Develop test task lists and strategies to deliver products on schedule.Develop QA methodologies and processes to deliver high quality products.Review user documentation to ensure that it accurately describes system functionality.Participating in requirements and design reviews of new functionality.Provide mentoring and leadership to junior members of the SQA team.Experience:5+ years of software/system experience designing test strategies and cases from engineering documents.Testing network products such as firewalls or web cache products.Implementing Automated test tools strongly desired.Web based management testing applications a plus.Strong Network management skills, especially in Microsoft environment.BCCS, BSEE or equivalent.MCSE highly desirable.
