Description
TWI is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of one of our clients in the Los Angeles Area.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
-This position will work with car navigation system development.
-Will write and review software project plans, create functional design and test plans.
-Will mentor junior engineers, develop and test navigation system software.
-Will also investigate, resolve bugs and revise documentation as needed.
-Will build and maintain an effective team and software process development for use in a SEI/CMMI environment.

Qualifications:
-BSEE, BSCE and five or more years of experience in C/C++ programming skills or equivalent combination of experience, education and training required.
-Experience with object-oriented design paradigms and design patterns.
-Strong verbal, technical writing and project management skills required.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Projects skills required.
-Must be motivated to produce the highest quality deliverables in a limited timeframe.
-Leadership experience and skills required.
-Knowledge with GPS navigation system skills preferred.
