Position Summary:

Systems engineer to participate in technology selection, deployment and operation in support of clinical and product safety systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for technical involvement in the operation and implementation of Millennium's R&D computer systems with particular focus on systems used in the clinical and Product safety business areas
Implementation of system changes in compliance with Millennium software development lifecycle (21 CFR part 11 compliance)
Develop custom reports and perform other custom programming tasks
Work with software vendors to evaluate, plan, and execute necessary systems changes and/or new technologies to be introduced in the Millennium environment
Contribute to multiple projects as a member of technical team
Perform validation prior to the implementation of new or system enhancements

Qualifications:

BS or BA in computer science or related discipline
At least 3 years experience in systems adminstration of Product Safety Systems (i.e. Argus)
Understanding of computer systems validation and 21 CFR part 11
Excellent written and oral communication skills; willing and able to work with others and independently
Experience with Oracle Reports, SQL and XML
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain high-level of accuracy and efficiency while managing multiple priorities
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
