Title: Sr Systems Engineer
Location: Berkely, CA
Full Time, Permanent.

The Senior Systems Engineer position we are hiring for is part of a 4 level engineering program designed to facilitate professional and organizational growth while fully meeting the needs of our expanding client base. Senior Systems Engineers are responsible for:


1. Project design, implementation, and management
a. Assessing clients current network environments
b. Making recommendations to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and security
b. Designing secure, reliable networks
c. Developing detailed project plans and managing projects to completion
d. Training of client-side network administrators

2. Priority Support (Troubleshooting break/fix issues)

3. Strategic IT Consulting
a. Providing strategic IT direction to client-side executives
b. Fulfilling intellectual deliverables

You're the kind of person we're looking for if you:

1. Have a Bachelors degree
2. Hold current engineering certification
a. MCSE (2000/2003)
b. CCNA / CCNP
c. CCA / CCEA
3. Have 4+ years of IT consulting and/or network administrative experience
4. Have managed and were responsible for the successful completion of several Windows and Exchange migration and deployment projects. Deployment of other Microsoft products such as MOM, SMS, and ISA are a plus.
5. Have extensive experience with Cisco technologies: including routing, switching, firewall, and VPN
6. Have implemented and supported Citrix Metaframe, web-interface (Nfuse and Citrix Secure Gateway) in multiple environments.
7. Are detail oriented with strong project management skills.
8. Can lead teams and have a team-player mentality.
9. Have strong written and verbal communications skills.
10. Love technology!

This position has a compensation range from $80,000-$120,000 plus benefits. Range will depend on skills, experience, and performance.

Full time position includes a competitive salary and bonus, 401(K), health, dental and vision benefits, plus driving expenses.
