One of our clients is looking for a Sr Systems Engineer with ASP and Visual Basic experience. This person will be responsible for designing, coding and unit testing software solutions, building and packaging software releases to QA and writing documentation in the form of design documents, installation guides and release notes.

RESPONSIBILITES:
The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
-Adding new functionality to existing web based applications written in ASP 3.0 and ASP .NET (C#).
-Creating and modifying COM components written in VB 6.0 and C# .NET.
-Fixing bugs found by QA in various versions of software solutions.
-Performing high level and detailed design work.
-Creating, testing and releasing installable kits and related documentation.
-Assisting other team members. Other projects and duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other relevant field.
-3+ years experience in the software industry designing, implementing and supporting multiple software projects/products.
-Thorough understanding of Microsoft Web Architecture including Visual Basic, Active Server Pages, IIS, MTS, COM/DCOM, Visual Studio.
-Understanding of C# .NET, ADO .NET a plus.
-Ability to comprehend and communicate technical ideas.
-Understanding of data and object modeling design methodologies. df-tc

Experience/Skills
3-5+ years experience as a Sr Systems Engineer. Must have experience with Visual Basic and ASP. Experience with .NET and C# are preferred.
