Seeking Highly Motivated, Creative Senior UI Designer!

Our client is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and creative individual to design a web based financial services tools suite for the Prepaid Card Market. As a senior UI designer you will be responsible for working closely with program managers, designers, and architects to create and layout the information flow for the user experience. You will collaborate with team members to understand functional and usability needs, and design cohesive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Candidates must exhibit knowledge of current implementation technologies and best practices for web based products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human interface design, website layout/design and the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects and other project stakeholders across the team to design and document the user experience.
- Create and document UI concepts and solutions that support the client product suite.
- Design interactive navigation, controls and icons.
- Create site navigation trees and flow charts that are clear and detailed.
- Create wire frames, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Work with the design team to create a consistent look, feel and functional design system. Develop and document standards for usability including screen components, graphics, styles, page navigation and functional interaction.
- Draft design specification documents within platform requirements and limitations.
- Communicate and partner with teams to iterate the design vision.
- Present multiple design ideas, prototypes and usability options.


Required Skills
- Excellent UI design skills with an outstanding portfolio of interactive projects.
- Solid understanding of the relationship between content, visual design, user interface and technology
- Expert abilities with HTML, CSS and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
- Experience with common usability standards including W3C accessibility, Section 508 and/or DDA.
- Experience and participation in the complete product delivery lifecycle. Core competency in website layout and design with emphasis on consistency, attention to detail and simplicity.
- Must be able to quickly generate mockups to illustrate design concepts. Must be able to present multiple design options and recommend approach.
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to listen, collaborate, articulate designs and advocate best practice solutions. Ability to take direction to meet creative and business needs is a must.
- Must be organized, work effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple, concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of implementation technologies, and how to design within limitations
- Specific experience designing financial services websites is desired.
- Excellent work ethic.

Experience
- 5+ years experience in web design
- BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts, human factors or related field.Senior UI Designer
