Description
My client is seeking an Sr UNIX Administrator to setup new Linux, AIX and Solaris OS. Duties will include performance tuning and Monitoring of Servers and Services.

- Other duties include:
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Server and Kernel compilation and configuration.
- Application installation and configuration.
- Working with various departments to determine hardware/software requirements.
- Documentation of configurations and changes.
- Creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Work with application engineering, QA, and PMO teams to ensure the success of all production ready application and projects.
- Ensures that operation-based projects and initiatives are delivered on-time and with exceptional quality.

Skills Required:
- Linux/Unix server administration.
- Knowledge of Apache and JBoss installation and configurations.
- Disaster Recovery Planning.
- EMC SAN/NAS.
- Operations Best Practices.
- Server Patching.

call for details, - Strong knowledge of enterprise backup, clustering, and high-availability.
- Strong overall understanding of complex storage technologies (SAN or NAS).
- 4 years relevant experience.
