6+ month contract to hire

50-55/hr W2



CDI has an immediate opening for a front end web developer with expertise in AJAX and Java technologies. Duties will include analysis, design and coding to requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of complex AJAX functionality & frameworks along with comprehensive CSS and HTML skills in a JSP environment. This position is developing and implementing complex Internet functions on our platform. We are looking for an experienced developer with passion for technology and deep background with relevant skills.

In this position you will:
Evaluate system specifications and requirements, lead design presentations, influence direction and implement the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.
Coordinate with partners outside the group.
Perform web based application development, tuning and module design.
Perform web security analysis and participates in security planning.

Minimum Qualifications
4 year Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
8 years JavaScript with strong, enterprise software experience & web application development.
3 years advanced AJAX functionality.
8 years CSS development.
8 years cross browser compatibility development.
3 years J2EE exposure with exposure to Servlets or MVC frameworks like Struts/Spring.
3 years JSP experience - familiarity with custom tags.
4 years working with highly complex, high volume web based applications
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with wide range of groups in dynamic work environment.

Financial industry experience
Experience with OO JavaScript principles, MVC JavaScript patterns and common front end frameworks and development tools J2EE
