Responsibilities:
. Develop scope and objectives for systems based on both end user needs for various business systems
. Document requirements and develop system requirement specs
. Design, code, test, debug and maintain applicable business applications using Object Oriented coding in multiple programming languages, including Visual Studio, VB.net, C#, databases (SQL and/or Oracle), etc.
. Develop N-Tier applications in .NET, while following best practices, standards and architecture for coding
. Integrate internal and external applications us integration software, includining (but not limited to) SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), etc.
The qualified individual will have the following:
. Bachelors degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferrably in a related field (Computer Science, etc.)
. 5+ year of related experience, including 3+ years of experience developing business centric applications for Web based solutions
. Hands-on development experience developing Web based solutions in Visual Studio, VB.net, C#, databases (SQL and/or Oracle), SSIS, Reflections (desired, but not required), etc.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills regarding difficult technical ideas and documenting business system processes will be critical to success in this position
. Project management skills and previous experience operating in a development team oriented environment
. Experience developing Web based applications in a financial industry environment is a plus
