Warner Bros. Entertainment Studios in Burbank California is expanding its SAP footprint and the Warner Bros. internal recruiting team is actively seeking individuals to staff over 50 positions for our SAP Supply Chain implementation Project name Vanguard. The implementation will support the Warner Bros. Home Video/DVD Production global business unit, the largest home video business in the world. We are currently out of blueprint and ready for phase 2, which means we are ready for the majority of the team to start.

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Systems Analyst for the MIS WHV Service Management department.

  • This position is responsible for assisting in the design, configuration, testing and implementation of accounts receivable systems for Warner Home Video on a global basis.
  • Gather requirements to help in the design aspects of accounts receivable including translating business requirements into lasting functional designs.
  • The design aspects include accounts receivable processing & reporting (aging), clearing residual amounts, cash discount, dispute and deduction management.
  • Configures SAP FI/AR to meet business requirements.
  • Develops comprehensive testing plans covering all accounts receivable process variants, collects test results, and manages issue resolution.
  • Work closely with AR management and financial analyst counterparts to ensure proper customer accounting and integration with cash mgt.
  • Work w/ AR Management to develop a highly competent, proactive team of systems analysts.
  • Develop, maintain and publish technical standards to be used globally.
  • Prepare and publish integration documents, including technical white papers, system requirement definitions, technical evaluation reports, systems engineering plan and operations readiness plan.
  • Performs other work related duties as required.


    Experience/Skills
    BS degree in Computer Science or related field required.

  • Experience with the design, development and implementation of A/R process, reporting and supporting systems.
  • Understanding of the key integration points within the R/3 order fulfillment process.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Familiar with application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated broad functional knowledge, management discipline, strong leadership and organization skills, creativity and technical vision.
  • Design Document/Specification writing, and Systems Design.
  • Strong communication skills are required as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • 2-4 years large-scale ERP implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD and FI preferred.
  • Knowledge of the media and entertainment industry a plus.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in verbal and written modes.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must be able to work well under time constraints.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
  • Must be customer service-oriented.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
