Job Summary:

Interpret process, data modules, and business requirements into software code. Responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of system deliverables and fully utilizing data and process modeling methodologies, accepted concepts, standards, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
This position will be required to be on call and may require some week-end work depending on production support issues or project implementations

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Use established procedures to plan/design, develop/code, test, debug, convert data, and document applications to provide users with an enhanced ability to respond to their business needs. Develop and prepare computer programs, either with new code, modified programs, or reuses existing code through the use of program development software alternatives.
  • Provide systems and applications support/maintenance by defining problems, generating reports, answering data related questions, and identifying alternative solutions to recommend a preferred solution.
  • Provide technical leadership for projects of varying size and complexity.


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Advanced to Expert development skills required in VB.net, Visual Basic 6.0, VB Script, ASP & ADO.
  • Advanced to Expert SQL Server database development experience required with strong skills in writing Stored Procedures, Functions, DTS packages, Triggers.
  • At least 5-7 years experience in IT field.

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Oracle database development experience preferred with strong PL/SQL skills (Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers)
  • Advanced skills in Actuate preferred
  • Development experience in Siebel
  • Knowledge of GMP, GCP, GLP as they pertain to computer systems, computer validation, 21 CFR Part 11.
