Title: Sr. Application Development Engineer Skills: C/C , Java, Linux, 64 bit, Train controlLocation: LA, CA Length: 6 Mo Contract - HireJob description:Perform all phases of software engineering, such as requirement analysis, code/unit test and system integration, and test. Participate on project teams to adapt a rail control system for new customers. Tailor base product to new customers, and develop customer specific and product enhancements. Experience:BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 7 years application design and development experience Extensive application development experience using C and Linux/UNIX Experience with Linux 64 bit, a BIG plus Strong experience with Java, Tcl/Tk Experience with SQL, XML, Microsoft Visual Studios and NetBeans. Experience and knowledge of applying SEI-s CMM to software engineering. Experience with Freight Railroad, transit agencies, train control or SCADA systems, a plus Experience with Oracle and Windows and Linux operating systems, mission critical system development and support also a plus.
