Sr. Application Engineer - Duties and Responsibilities: Provides engineering, applications and market research assistances in developing existing products to meet new application requirements or new markets. Assists engineering and marketing personnel in defining new product specifications.
Responsible for pre- and/or post-sales/marketing support of new company products/systems. Provides software development assistance and consultation during development and beta stage of new products.
Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and installation of new product introductions. Attends company trade shows, including possible presentations. May visit customer sites to provide technical support. Qualifications: BS in an engineering discipline; 5 years of semiconductor assembly process engineering or wirebonder experience; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to read mechanical blue prints and electrical schematics; good problem solving and troubleshootidf-tc
