We have a platform of technology built on .NET and SQL Server that leverages the best of Microsoft's products. We work closely with our business partners and the product groups to build great solutions for Microsoft Partners. Our solutions deliver Microsoft products and bits internally and externally. We are poised to compete against the big players in the industry over the next few years and were looking for you to help us get there and knock it out of the park.

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for designing and developing scalable and robust technical solutions for some of the most complex enterprise systems in Operations. Our job is to ensure compliance, security, integrity and predictable delivery for Microsoft every time. As a Senior Applications Developer, you are responsible for working with Program Management, Test, Configuration Mgmt, internal and external MS partners to create and deliver business capabilities in a rapid development environment. The successful candidate is expected to bring technical expertise in .NET, SQL technology, and enterprise development principles to all discussions based on solid technical experience. As many projects will involve working with external Microsoft Partners strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must have.

Job Responsibilities:

Experience with C++ preferred, C#, SQL Server, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML and scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript). Strong Design skills (OO, SOA, Supportability, Maintainability)
Team-based development experience and familiarity with source code tools/process, bug tracking, code reviews, and other common development activities.
The ability to design and code database-driven applications that perform efficiently, are operationally stable, and meet the business requirements.
Manages own work to meet schedule and communicates regularly on progress. Identify redundant work done across multiple projects and develop strategy for consolidating and reusing across projects.
Identify process gaps and provide solutions for them. Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
Assist Test and Production Support teams with installation of the application.
Analyze applications and make necessary changes to optimize performance.

Experience/Skills
8+ years experience in the following (must have):

Must have complete understanding of software development lifecycle
Good understanding of Microsoft product(s)
.NET development experience with Middle-tier, and ASP.NET
Working knowledge of HTML and scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript).
C#, C/C++ SQL development and design experience with SQL Server or comparable RDBMS
Writing and scaling secure code
High Performance and Scalable application design/development
Previous experience with the following (nice to have):
Global application design/development including Unicode, Localization, Date/Time, Security and Currency issues. Web Service design.
Soft Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication, team skills
Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills


Other desired skills:
