Immediate need for a back-end developer, to design, implement and maintain back-end for web applications. Produce clean, high-quality code. Maintain existing static and dynamic web sites. Interact with front-end development team. Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, trends, and standards. df-tc

Experience/Skills
3+ years of back-end web development
Fundamental knowledge of back-end web development
Proficiency with server-side programming in Python, PHP, or Java with knowledge of web application frameworks, such as Django. Experience with scalable, multi-server, multi-database web development is a plus.
Familiarity with version control and issue tracking systems (SVN + Trac). Familiarity with front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JS and/or Flash) is a plus. A strong, creative, problem solver, self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough issues. A team player with energy and enthusiasm, and a high tolerance for change and ambiguity. Excellent communicator with an interest in continuous improvement of self and the organization.
